The aims of the club are to encourage interest in Siamese Cats and also preserve the welfare of all cats. Northern Siamese and Oriental Cat Society are members of the GCCF and hold an annual cat show on the second Saturday in April each year

In 2011 Northern Siamese changed its name to Northern Siamese and Oriental
Cat Society to allow the inclusion of all Orientals at its Shows in line
with the wishes of its members.
